From August 22-26, 2022 Castlegar United Church is delighted to be hosting Camp Spirit, a week long United Church Day Camp. At Camp Spirit we value listening to and experiencing Sacred Stories, enjoying times of creativity and science, moving to music, sharing a meal together, and fostering community and friendships! Camp Spirit proudly nurtures an setting that welcomes the fullness of God’s diversity.

The Camp Spirit notification needs far more explanation — Times, place, age group, leadership team, etc.

Good point! We left most of that information to the graphic, but not everyone can always see the pictures associated with posts, so having it in the text would be helpful!
Camp Spirit is for children ages 5-11 and goes from 9 am to 3 pm each day. There is also a Junior Leader opportunity for those 12 and up.
The cost is $150 and financial aid is available. Lunch, snacks, Camp Spirit T-shirt and all supplies needed for camp are included.
