Rev. Robin Pengelly entered the United Church of Canada as a teenager through a youth outreach music program at Gower Street United Church in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Later, she was called into ministry and served for 6 years as Youth Minister at Nelson United Church while completing her ministry training. She and her husband, John share a passion for music, singing in choirs, playing recorders, and occasionally doing piano-trumpet duets. Rev. Robin also is very involved in Camp Koolaree, where she has been a volunteer since 2009 and is known by many there as “Queen Bee”.
