There’s a few things of note in November this year. All Saints Day (Nov. 1) falls on a Sunday this year, so during that service, we will be recognizing those who have passed on this year and celebrating communion. We will be providing worship at Castleview Care Centre on November 8 (with Rev. Robin) and November 29 (with Brodie), which is a change from our usual schedule.
Rev. Robin will be on Study Leave from November 10-16 and we are fortunate to have Rev. Sunny leading both the English and the Korean language worship services on November 15th. Rev. Robin will still be down at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Day November 11th at 11 am, though, leading prayers alongside the Legion Padre, Simon Laurie.
On Friday November 27th, the Camp Koolaree Society, who operates our local United Church Summer Camp, will be holding their Annual General Meeting and Potluck at 6 pm downstairs in the church hall/gym.
On Saturday, November 28 at 3 pm, the Castlegar Community Children’s Choir will hold their concert in the church Sanctuary, with special guests from our very own Legacy Ringers Bell Choir! Then the Children’s Choir will return Sunday morning for an encore of a couple of their pieces during our November 29 Child Within Worship Service.
